I am a dedicated educator and researcher at NorQuest College, specializing in Practical Nursing. I hold a PhD from Michigan State University, where I developed deep expertise in curriculum development and teacher education, supported by an extensive background in biological sciences. Recognized as an acclaimed scholar, I have been honored for my innovative teaching methods and leadership with multiple awards, including the prestigious Gold Medal from Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). As a prolific writer and editor, I have published extensively and founded the Journal of Practical Nurse Education and Practice. Currently, I lead a major research project focused on enhancing mental health awareness and system navigation in Alberta.
